Devotions

Walk with God, one day at a time.

Scripture, reflection, and prayer to anchor your week — from the Gateway Assembly family to your quiet place.

This Week's Devotion

Restored to Shine

Proverbs 31:18 — “Her lamp does not go out at night.”

Restoration is not only about being repaired — it is about being returned to purpose. A lamp is restored so it can shine again. Whatever this season has taken from you, God's desire is not merely to patch you up but to relight you, so that your life gives light to your home, your workplace, and your community.

Reflect: What has dimmed in your life that you can bring back to God this week?

Pray: Father, relight what has gone dim in me. Restore me — not just for my comfort, but so my life shines for You. Amen.

A Simple Rhythm

How to have a daily devotion

1 · Read

Open the Word

Pick one passage — a Psalm, a chapter of a Gospel, or the week's devotion text. Read it slowly, twice.

2 · Reflect

Let it speak

Ask: what does this show me about God? About myself? Is there a promise to hold or an instruction to obey today?

3 · Respond

Pray it back

Turn what you read into prayer — thanksgiving, confession, and one specific request for the day ahead.
