Fasting is not a hunger strike — it is setting aside food (or comfort) for a season so that our appetite turns fully toward God.

A focused time of corporate prayer to close out the week together. Many members choose to fast through Friday and break together in the evening.
Every Friday · 6:30 – 8:00 PM
Main sanctuary
Fast toward something — a decision, a breakthrough, a nation, a family member. Write it down and pray over it each time hunger reminds you.
The time you would have spent eating, spend in the Word and prayer. A fast without prayer is just a diet.
If you are pregnant, nursing, on medication, or managing a health condition, speak to your doctor and consider a partial fast (e.g. one meal, or specific foods) instead.
Matthew 6:17–18 — Jesus said “when you fast,” not “if” — and promised the Father who sees in secret will reward.
Isaiah 58:6 — The fast God chooses loosens chains, unties yokes, and sets the oppressed free.
Joel 2:12 — “Return to me with all your heart, with fasting and weeping and mourning.”
